Talent Day UK

28/08/2020

Access to free Careers Sessions

On the 6th of September we’ll be celebrating a special day – something we call Talent Day – marking the foundation of our parent company back in 1995. It has become a tradition that each Talent Day we devote time to reflect and give back to our local communities across the globe.

This year we are providing ambitious young people across the UK with access to free careers sessions. The sessions are suitable for driven young people aged 16-25  and will help build confidence, awareness and knowledge of careers with the technology sector.

Why pursue a career in Tech?

1 // Countless Opportunities: Career opportunities in tech have risen 13% on last year meaning there are 21,000 new career opportunities added every month

2 // Financial Reward: Salaries in tech are on the rise too. The average UK tech salary increased from £49,896 to £53,069, making it a great industry for those who want to progress in their career. Not to mention earn a decent wage.

3 // Job Satisfaction: Not only do 1 in 12 candidates choose it as their preferred sector, 87% of those currently working in tech actually enjoy their work.

The sessions will be held in Birmingham, London, Manchester and will cover one or more of the following three areas:

  1. Discover what your dream tech job looks like and how to find it
  2. How to make your CV shine
  3. How to boss a job interview

The exact format and timing will vary by location and details are available via the links below. In all cases we’ll be providing free snacks and refreshments.
