RISE to the Challenge
3rd September 2021
According to the OECD, the global youth unemployment rate is 13.5%. The impact of COVID on young people’s work across the world has been staggering, with job losses across many sectors who employ young, casual workers.
We know there are people aged 18-25 in your community who are struggling to find that important first step in their career. We want to help.
This September, we would like you to join us for our first official RISE Day. On September 3, we will leverage the collective power of Talent’s 300 global employees for a volunteering initiative designed to provide help to young people who are experiencing barriers to finding employment.
What are we offering to young people?
We have an ambitious goal to reach 1,000 young people around the world with this initiative. We aren’t trying to sell anything, we just want to make a difference. With your help, we can. We offer three distinct ways in which you can engage with RISE Day:
Join your local Talent team on September 3 at one of our offices. We'd love to host you or a number of your team at any of our global hubs to join our consultants in taking calls from young people looking for career advice. Volunteers with specialist skill sets can be matched to young people looking to follow a similar career path.
Make a one-off donation to become an official corporate partner of our event. Corporate partners will have their logo included on campaign literature and promotional material related to the event. Alignment to the event can also be advertised as part of your CSR policy which includes the use of the RISE Day logo and a personal note of thanks from Talent RISE Global CEO, Karen Graham for inclusion in any local PR.
Promote our initiative to your networks to help us expand our reach and make an impact on young lives. Please use our promotional pack with some ready-made images which you can share across your social channels and networks, otherwise simply show your support by using the hashtag #RISEDAY
